Infonet Services Corporation provides global data communications services to multinational corporations. Looking for a way to efficiently scale its business to keep pace with market growth, Infonet decided to automate the process used to manage orders for its global data communications services. Following an intensive evaluation of available solutions and interviews with Siebel customers, Infonet deployed "Wizard," an order management system powered by Siebel CRM applications, including Siebel Communications and Siebel Configurator. With the Siebel solution in place, Infonet has reduced its order-to-bill cycle time by 23 percent, improved on-time delivery of services by 14 percent, and accelerated the implementation of networkwide improvements designed to reduce costs.
