Interval International is a full-service travel agency, the company specializes in vacation exchanges, helping timeshare owners trade vacation opportunities at 1,900 international resorts. An aging firewall that could not scale to support expanding security requirements precipitated Interval's search for an improved Internet access solution. As the company's business and supporting infrastructure grew, so too did its exposure to potentially devastating viruses, malicious code, and unauthorized network access. The NetApp solution uniquely combined the security and management features required in the Interval environment: access control and authentication support, content filtering, usage reporting, and centralized administration. The NetApp IAS solution lets Interval employees take full advantage of Web-based services.
