WAP phones are a growing relevant part of the mobile market, and the number of offered WAP services is increasing at a very rapid rate. Usability is a crucial requirement for kind of services, which must be easily operated by users on small screens and keyboards. This paper presents a user study that evaluates two of the possible user interface design choices, which have not been thoroughly investigated neither in the literature nor in design practice.
