The Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) manages and directs the country's military forces and oversees all matters related to national defense and emergency preparedness. The department wanted to implement a dual-language messaging system that connected its 90,000 personnel located around the world. In just months, EDS implemented a robust messaging infrastructure without interrupting ongoing operations. Swiftly and without disruption, the EDS team helped enable DND to have a worldwide communications capability with considerable speed. Delivered securely and seamlessly in multiple sites around the world, DEMS II is one of the most effective messaging infrastructures of any military force in the world.
