Microsoft Exchange Server Load Simulator 2000 (LoadSim2000) is a benchmarking tool designed to test how a server responds to mail load. LoadSim2000 allows you to simulate the delivery of multiple MAPI client messaging requests to an Exchange 2000 server. To simulate the delivery of these messaging requests, you run LoadSim tests on client computers. These tests send multiple messaging requests to the Exchange server, thereby causing a mail load. This paper describes the procedure to be followed for installation of the Microsoft Exchange Server Load Simulator 2000. It also walks you through performing the LoadSim tests.
