Con-Way is an industry-leading provider of commercial freight delivery and logistics services. The Con-Way collection process was inefficient and time-consuming because information about each customer's AR status was spread across disparate company databases and applications. TIBCO's business integration software helped Con-Way to integrate accounts receivable (AR) collection tools with Con-Way databases and applications - including a customer database, shipment database, customer relationship management (CRM) system, and data warehouse - to improve productivity for collection staff. By using TIBCO's integration software instead of manually coding point-to-point interfaces, Con-Way dramatically accelerated time to market for the integration project.
