Selectron Technologies has been at the forefront of developing IVR and IWR solutions for local government agencies. The challenge for Selectron was to integrate a secure payment processing solution into an existing IVR and IWR platform to allow clients such as the City of Thousand Oaks, CA and other local governments to give citizens the option of paying utility bills, traffic fines, permit applications and other fees and charges, over the phone or through the Web. Selectron chose to partner with VeriSign and to utilize Payflow Pro, part of VeriSign's Security Intelligence and Control services, to provide payment-processing services.
