Algorithmics is a leading provider of enterprise risk management software. To ensure the success of new Algo Suite solutions, Algorithmics wanted to use standard C++ components that could measure up to stringent requirements. Algorithmics developers had been using Rogue Wave C++ software components since 1997, upgrading to Rogue Wave SourcePro C++ early in 2001 to work on Algo Suite solutions development. In developing the Algo Scenario Engine, Nestor's team used Rogue Wave SourcePro Core to provide basic C++ objects, such as arrays and lists, and to perform basic algorithms such as sorting. The Algo Scenario Engine uses SourcePro DB to access third party databases, such as Sybase and Oracle.
