The purpose of this paper is to provide general guidelines to help reduce the number of master images required for installing a Windows server image on computers with different mass storage controllers. This paper provides information on how sysprep works with mass storage controllers and how to build a [SysprepMassStorage] section in the sysprep.inf file for different Dell mass storage controllers. This paper also outlines the use of the OemPnPDriversPath key in preparation of the master image that can be deployed on different servers.
