Using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 in combination with the Microsoft.NET Compact Framework it is possible to develop managed, full scale, multi-threaded applications for mobile and embedded devices running the Windows CE operating system. Develop using either language, Microsoft Visual Basic or Visual C# .NET. This webcast begins with a look at multi-threaded applications with Visual Studio.NET 2003, the .NET Compact Framework version 1.0 and OpenNETCF.org's Smart Device Framework. After getting the fundamentals, it will then look at development using Visual Studio 2005 and the .NET Compact Framework version 2.0.
