Tata Elxsi's client is a leading network equipment manufacturer based in Japan. Tata had to design & develop new routing core architecture, common to all routing protocols. Tata Elxsi's technological expertise in communications software helped the client to develop a cutting edge product in a minimum timeframe by deploying optimal resources. The product is meant for a series of routers used in Enterprise/WAN aggregation and carrier networks. The work involved definition of a new routing core to support all industry standard routing protocols for packet exchange between IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
