The state government department needed to implement a new standard operating environment and roll out Active Directory, after a merger with another government department. One of the merging departments already had Windows XP, and the other was still on Windows NT. With a distributed network and limited IT resources, the new department wanted to replace existing manual processes, and implement ITIL best practice. ManageSoft for Windows Deployment provided rapid automated migration from Windows NT to Windows XP. ManageSoft provides ongoing automated management of all applications in the new standard operating environment.
