"Virtual Patch" is a process by which protection agents can be configured to provide an immediate defense against catastrophic risks prior to the availability of a vendor-released patch or upgrade. The "Virtual Patch" process protects systems against attack during the interim of time between the discovery of vulnerability and the availability and manual application of a security patch. Upon notification of a new threat, a "Virtual Patch" can be immediately applied across an enterprise through a central management application. Users can apply the "Virtual Patch" through the application by first launching vulnerability detection scans to identify at-risk systems, and then enabling protection for those system vulnerabilities through their network, server and desktop protection agents. Join this educational webcast to find out how this process can enable an organization to, immediately protect against known and unknown attacks.
