The Mesquite IDS, required to implement a total connectivity solution for the entire school district, was faced with choices, and all were related to effectiveness, installation and maintenance costs. The only practical solution was to go wireless - one station for many wirelessly connected computers in each classroom, pulling enough cables to make a hardwired system work was a no go from the start. The challenge was to install so many units that coverage was total. The WG602 units, when combined with the NETGEAR special customized Remote Management interface, are proving to be a solid, reliable and effective solution to what was originally perceived as a possibly overwhelming problem of installation and maintenance.
