Atos Origin is an international information technology services company. With a mixed estate of systems running SAP applications, it was becoming important to reduce the complexity of the hardware environment, in order for Atos Origin to be able to manage and maintain its diverse IT infrastructure. Atos Origin consolidated a total of eight systems to two IBM eServer pSeries 690 servers in a High Availability Cluster Multi Processing (HACMP) environment, running multiple SAP applications in separate logical partitions (LPARs).
