The purpose of this paper is to address the new features and enhancements in ProLiant Clusters with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition. The maximum supported cluster size has been increased from two (2) nodes, with Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server, to eight (8) nodes with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition. For Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition, the maximum supported number of cluster nodes has been increased, from 4-nodes in Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, to 8-nodes. These larger, more scalable clusters provide customers with additional flexibility to create a cluster configuration tailored to their high availability needs.
