The East Kent NHS trust is one of the largest in the United Kingdom running five hospitals and employing approximately 8000 staff at 300 sites throughout the East Kent region. The Trust needed to upgrade its hardware to work with the latest Torex PAS (patient administration system) software in a timely and efficient fashion. After carrying out a detailed evaluation of the running costs of the machines the Trust selected printers from Kyocera because of their extremely low running costs and environmental friendliness. Kyocera Mita provided The Trust with appropriate products and technical advice, which contributed to the success of the roll out.
