Durham County Council is responsible for 306 schools in County Durham with a total of 65000 students aged from 4 to 18. Recommendations for schools' ICT purchases are made by ITSS in conjunction with the Corporate Procurement service. The IT Support Service needed to choose a colour laser printer to recommend for purchase in schools throughout the Durham area. Keeping costs low was a major criteria, especially where replacement toner was concerned. After evaluation the FS-C5016N A4 colour laser printer from Kyocera Mita was chosen to due its low running costs and high print quality.
