David Tuttle, Chairperson for the Peoria, Illinois, County Emergency Telephone System Board, was faced with a problem often found in dispatch centers space! Although flat panels had replaced CRTs at their workstations a while ago, the monitors were still consuming too much desk space. Tuttle called Ergotron. The Ergotron Representative surveyed their workstations and made product recommendations to consolidate the monitors based on the number of monitors in each position. DS100 Quad DeskStands, DS100 Dual DeskStands and 300 Series articulating arms were installed. These solutions allowed Tuttle to reclaim 20% of the desk space for the dispatcher positions and 60% of the desk space for the supervisor positions.
