This paper describes a joint study by edocs, Inc. and IBM to test the scalability of edocs product, eaDirect 2.2, on the AIX platform. It describes the scalability characteristics of the eaDirect product on IBM eServer pSeries hardware, running IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM DB2 Universal Database (DB2 UDB). The performance tests determined that edocs eaDirect application, running WebSphere Application Server on pSeries hardware, scales linearly to support a user population of millions of customers.
