This paper presents a series of benchmarks to test the performance of the 1.00 GHz POWER4 p630, 1.45 GHz POWER4+ p630, 1.45 GHz POWER4+ p650, 1.10 GHz POWER4 p655, 1.30 GHz POWER4 p655, 1.10 GHz POWER4 p670, and 1.30 GHz POWER4 p690 IBM architectures that are part of the pSeries family of systems. The set of benchmarks correspond to three different proteins with and without explicit solvent that are part of the standard AMBER7 set of benchmarks.
