This paper offers a summary of IBM eServer iSeries products and programs that have been announced since the April 2001 printed edition of the IBM eServer iSeries and AS/400e System Builder, SG24-2155-06. Any sections that contain text or table data for new or changed technical information are included in this paper. The products and functions that have been announced since the SG24-2155-06 edition through August 2001, include the ability to rack-mount Model 270 servers, options to convert racks or towers to support new technology, long distance HSL, additional upgrade options for the iSeries 270 and 840 models, and dual line cords.
