This paper describes the early experiences of the ITSO team with the Globus Toolkit 3.0. The goal of this paper is to provide the critical jump-start for someone who wants to learn about GT3 but has little or no experience with prior Globus releases or grid computing in general. It shows you how to implement a GT3 demo or a proof-of-concepts scenario. Also, it illustrates the high-level concepts of the toolkit components and the overall architecture.
