Concurrent licensing - though rarely available - provides businesses with one-to-multiple license connections for a single price. And, most importantly, the concurrent connection begins the moment the user accesses the application and lasts for the duration of the connection. To arrive at fact-based conclusions, the Yankee Group conducted two separate surveys in May 2003 focusing on concurrent licensing issues. The first was a Web-based survey conducted jointly with Sunbelt Software. The second, which the Yankee Group conducted alone, consisted of first-person interviews with corporate customers.
