Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD) techniques are used for analyzing and discovering actionable insights from data. Today, data mining is being increasingly used and embedded in vertical solutions for business intelligence and decision support, such as platforms for Data Management, eCommerce, and critical large-scale solutions (e.g. CRM).
