The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) is Ireland's fastest-growing higher education establishment, located on the northwest edge of Dublin. In 2004, ITB planned the introduction of a new graduate diploma course in computing, and expected that many of the students would be in employment. Daniel McSweeney, formerly head of research and development for Educational Multimedia Corporation, is now a lecturer in computing at ITB and working with a specialised team of staff on the setup of e-learning systems. As a long-term user of Macromedia products, McSweeney determined that Macromedia Breeze would be the ideal platform for ITB's e-learning requirements.
