Antelope Valley Health Care System needed an enterprise mail system that could meet their high demand and wanted more collaboration capabilities so the medical staff could share ideas easily. The hospital also wanted to put all of its paper forms online for faster processing of office paperwork. The center has recently implemented Microsoft Exchange 2000, Microsoft's new messaging and collaboration software, on a cluster of Dell PowerEdge 6450 servers and network of Dell PowerVault 650F RAID storage systems. The result has been uptime, great staff collaboration, high staff productivity, and low administrative and hardware costs.
