Delta Solutions develops online and off-line marketing initiatives for media organisations. It needed to create a system that monitors and records songs played by television and radio stations in the Netherlands, revolutionising the speed and accuracy of royalty payments to music publishers, composers and artists. Delta Solutions incorporated a new datacentre architecture incorporating powerful, scalable enterprise servers and storage devices from Dell. These are connected to radio and television receivers by high-speed, interference-free, optical cables. The system gives music publishers real-time, web-based access to royalties payments data. This information is viewed through a secure server so that clients only see their own accounts. This is achieved through precisely defined security rules.
