Like many learning terms, 'blended learning' has the illusion of being a concrete concept. In practice, it is a flexible term that means different things to different people. Some sceptics see it as an old idea dressed up in new clothes, something everybody has being doing all along. Others are nervous about its status as a marketing buzzword or a simple defence of the old against the new.
