Following the Lafarge Group's acquisition of the British-based Blue Circle Group, Lafarge North America, the largest diversified supplier of construction materials, needed to integrate its messaging infrastructure with Blue Circle's North American subsidiary - a 3000-employee firm with more than 200 offices in the U.S. and Canada. The team chose to leverage the advanced e-learning capabilities of Lotus LearningSpace to provide online training about the basics of Lotus Notes. Lafarge North America had achieved excellent results with Lotus Software in the past, and was impressed with the capabilities of Lotus LearningSpace.
