The market challenge for today's Internet service providers is how to best provide high network efficiencies, new enabling technologies and lower cost in an environment of decreasing profit margins and increasing competition. Sprint answers the challenge through employing state-of-the art techniques and technologies, including those used to provide Quality of Service (QoS). This paper introduces QoS technologies and briefly describes the Sprint position on QoS.
