When the company chose to augment the entrance policy at its headquarters in Rapid City to track and verify the real-time movements of employees and visitors, BHC enlisted Daksoft - its wholly owned IT subsidiary - to enhance existing security measures with a network-based video monitoring system. The iSeries architecture enables BHC to run Motion - an open source, Linux-based digital media solution - and to store critical security footage via a highly manageable Linux partition.
