When Rogers AT&T Wireless, Canada's leading wireless service provider, wanted to launch new GSM and GPRS services for its customers, it looked to Ericsson to provide a simple, cost-effective solution. Rogers AT&T Wireless had already made a significant investment in systems and business processes for its existing TDMA network and wanted to avoid unnecessary duplication and complexity of running two separate networks. Ericsson delivered innovative mediation and activation solutions that helped Rogers AT&T Wireless build the world's first co-existent TDMA, GSM, and GPRS network.
