This paper provides a development overview for the Palm OS 5.3 SC release. It is intended as an introduction to the new features and compatibility risks that relate to 3rd party applications. Palm OS 5.3 SC is a Simplified Chinese localization of Palm OS based on Palm OS 5.2. It also includes a number of enhancements and new features to the platform to better support the Chinese OS.
