Hyperion has architected a business intelligence platform that can scale to hundreds of thousands of users and thus easily and cost-effectively meet the needs of enterprisewide deployments, on the Intel Itanium 64-bit architecture. To demonstrate the power of this solution, an APB-1 OLAP benchmark of Hyperion Essbase analytic services, the analytic engine for the Hyperion BI platform, was run on HP servers leveraging Itanium 2 CPUs. The results of the benchmark show that Hyperion Essbase analytic services and HP provide a solution that delivers best-in-industry analytic performance and value for enterprisewide deployments.
