It is possible to port a large C++ program from another OS to EPOC if the original program has been written with portability in mind, but EPOC is sufficiently different from other systems that porting will remain a non-trivial task. The issues with porting C++ programs are likely to be a superset of those of porting C programs. Xpdf is written in such a way that the differences between it and its EPOC port - Pdf - are small, I suspect that porting a C++ program that uses exceptions and the STL will be a lot harder.
