During 2002, Satelindo doubled its call data volume, which triggered a storage upgrade in order to provide more differentiated services and greater business continuity. Satelindo required 24x7 data protection and disaster-recovery capabilities to safeguard daily operations from potential threats. Satelindo implemented an HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array SAN. HP Services provided installation, startup, and data migration services for the EVA. The solution also includes Microsoft SQL Server, and Exchange Server 2000, plus HP AlphaServer ES40 systems running the OpenVMS operating system.
