Prompted by the success of the Domino-based intranet solution in British Columbia, HUB International Limited decided to base its new corporatewide intranet on IBM technology. A positive previous experience with IBM Business Partner Pacific Coast Information Systems (PCIS) Ltd. led HUB International Limited to tap the company for solution development and software implementation services. The intranet at HUB International Limited is powered by two independently purchased IBM eServer xSeries 330 servers running Red Hat Linux that are in production as Web servers.
