This paper shows the result of IDC's study in Europe, which shows the low participation rate of women in the Internet networking professions. Over the past few years, IDC has analyzed the extent of the IT skills shortage in Western Europe. This new study shows that one way of addressing this shortage is to encourage more women to enter, and remain in IT professions, including Internet networking.
