This paper provides an overview of the Mobile Sales Tool (MOST) from SYSPRO, a proof-of-concept sales order entry application designed for handheld wireless devices running Pocket PC 2002. MOST provides salespeople with the ability to capture orders into a PDA even when disconnected from the office network or internet. When connectivity is available, salespersons are able to synchronize the sales orders with the core SYSPRO ERP system.
