Delivering world-class guest and member services at a four-star hotel, health club and spa that covers all aspects of the experience, from reservations and check-in to room service and banquet facilities. Connecting all of the amenities is a 400-user IT infrastructure featuring more than 350 desktop PCs and nearly 30 servers, as well as high-end notebooks and handheld PCs for The Houstonian's senior management and sales force. Wireless also plays a role, with desktops and notebooks on an encrypted wireless network in areas where cables would be unsightly. They selected HP for their long term computing needs.
