A major North American wholesaler/distributor was recently faced with a challenging release schedule and a significant integration effort for their multi-site new order management, financial, and warehousing systems. Developing the point-to-point interfaces required between the new systems and their current legacy systems could not be accomplished within the required timeframes or project budget. CSC introduced an Enterprise Application Integration (eAI) solution to the Wholesaler as an alternative to traditional point-to-point interfaces to provide a quicker, more robust solution to their problem. CSC led the selection process for the eAI tool.
