D.H. Brown Associates, Inc. (DHBA) believes that ARMTech will provide a powerful tool for server consolidation. For Tru64 UNIX, the addition of ARMTech will bring the platforms resource management to a level on a par with competitive systems, such as AIX Workload Manager and HP-UX Process Resource Manager. It also represents an evolution of Solaris Resource Manager, which was based on Aurema's older ShareII technology. However, for Windows and Linux platforms, which have recently undergone the most extensive proliferation, ARMTech is truly a breakthrough product, providing capabilities that were previously available only on mainframes and high-end commercial UNIX systems.
