Based in Nashville, Tennessee, HealthStream is the leading provider of learning solutions for the healthcare industry. HealthStream wanted to develop an easy-to-use, cost-effective authoring solution that would enable subject matter experts and education directors in hospitals to rapidly develop custom content from their desktop and deliver it to their learners through the HealthStream Learning Center. HealthStream was already a long-time user of Macromedia Flash, Director, and Dreamweaver, so the product development team was interested when Macromedia announced Contribute. Contribute empowers non-technical subject matter experts to develop content and publish courses themselves - reducing the amount of direct assistance and training required by HealthStream.
