This paper details the requirements and procedures for teaming an HP NCx1xx server adapter with an HP NCx7xx server adapter under NetWare 4.2, 5.x, or 6.x. "Multi-vendor Teaming" refers to the practice of joining two or more HP server adapters that are built with chip sets from two different manufactures (Intel and Broadcom). Teaming provides Network Fault Tolerance and Load Balancing for increased network reliability and performance.
