Augmented and virtual realities no longer belong solely to “gamers.” Marketplace trends and enabling technologies have recently emerged that allow us to capitalize on the features and applications of gaming and apply them to commerce and business in the real world. Boeing, for example, is using augmented reality to overlay wiring assembly information on technicians’ workspaces. In this way, the company is dramatically improving the process of wiring their aircraft.
