CancerCare (Canada) is a government-sponsored organization responsible for cancer detection, treatment, and research. They needed a cost-effective, wireless network solution that would provide a seamless transition to the new network and permit staff to remain mobile while accessing information from any CancerCare facility. To achieve this CancerCare utilized 3Com 11 Mbps Wireless LAN, SuperStack Switches. This improved patient care as the CancerCare staff has a fast, reliable and mobile access to crucial patient information, improving the delivery of patient care. The greater speed and easily accessible information provides staff more time to spend on patient care.
