Volvo wanted to build brand loyalty and reinforce their strong brand identity of "Care & Safety". They decided to utilize rich media email technology and send a "welcome" video email to all new purchases and leases. Silverpop worked with Volvo to design the program from ground-up. Volvo decided they did not want a traditional call to action in the email. They idea was to thank the customer and make them feel like part of the larger Volvo family. Because of this campaign Customer Care Center email/call volume up went up 20% following launch of this ongoing email program.
