The aim of this document is to provide information that will be useful to developers who want to port applications written for the Palm OS to the Series 60 Developer Platform. Unfortunately, porting between these platforms is not a small task, and therefore this document is not intended to be a step-by-step guide to porting. Instead, it offers advice about whether porting is feasible and introduces the fundamental concepts of the Series 60 Developer Platform. Series 60 devices can run either Java.
