The purpose of this document is to present useful advice and guidance to developers wishing to port their Pocket PC applications to the Series 60 Developer Platform or to create new applications designed for both platforms. It is not possible to cover every individual issue involved in portability, so the scope of this document will be limited to providing good examples of cross-platform coding and explaining the key features and idioms involved in developing for the Series 60 Developer Platform with respect to comparative techniques on the Pocket PC.
